iPhone doesn’t like file:///

iPhone alert: Safari can't open the page because it is a local file Rats.

I didn’t really expect it to work, but I just tried putting “file:///” into MobileSafari on my iPhone.

Didn’t even come close to working.

sigh

I’m still looking for an easy way to cache pages locally for offline viewing.
