Why are there no dual boot computers?
There are more than 80 operating systems out there (Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, etc) but there are 0 (none, zilch) dual-boot machines (that is, machines which can boot to Windows and one of those other operating systems).

You mean, no dual boot machines *for sale* that include Windows.

Yup, should have been clearer.
Of course a lot of people setup their computers to dual boot (I've done it myself) but you can't buy one from Best Buy or Dell or anyone else for that matter.

You can get a dual boot machine from pcsforeveryone (http://www.pcsforeveryone.com/).
I came across it a few years ago when I wanted to get an AMD machine with a Matrox video card. Very few companies sell this configuration.

Also HP are releasing machines which run lynx so theres you two OS company but dual boot i dont belive so.

If you buy a Linux machine, many of the vendors will include MS Windows as a dual-boot option. The Micro$oft vendor stranglehold doesn't apply to them.

I KNOW WHY THERE ARE NO DUEL BOOT OS BECAUSE NO NONE WILL BUY THEM IF SOME ONE CAME UP WITH DUEL CPUS WITH MULTI OS LIKE APPLE WITH LIKE SOME THE NEW CLEAR SEE THROUGH CASES WITH LED MEMORY FROM CORSAIRE AND A TV TUNER BUILTIN I WOULD BUY ONE BUT THER IS ANOTHER ALTERENATIVE THATS STAYS COVERED UP A LOT IS A NO OS COMPUTER OR A TRULLY EMPTY HARD DRIVE THERE ATLEAST 3 COMPANIES THAT HAVE THE www.hypersonicpc.com www.pcclub.com but you got go under costimizing the computer to get the option and www.zeuspc.com too besides they have never reviwed any no os that from the modern computer they usaly have old clukers and never rated wich leaves you with 100 percent usable hard drive capacity or you can try be os from purpluse they have a be os 4.5 and a 5.03 version at www.purplus.com only $15.00 $24.00 depends if it is 4.5 or 5.03 version besides closed sorce so no virus likly unlike microsoft or mac ox or linux or sun microsystems they have very tight control over who buys there product it is about the purest os on the market they also have 2 games at the web site for you to buy for the be os there so far getting buy buy jury awards lawyers from microsoft so they realy need custermers to buy buy buy they will not allow the stock to fall below $0.58 per shere but it is about $0.61 to $0.64 cents per shere besides there origenal os was for the internet aplience for the kitchen but sence that has gone no were fast the went in to pc os ebay they have a be os 2.0 version for bidding only not buying.
