White Rabbit and the Very Famous Bumblebee

March 1, 2004

[Tracey as the White Rabbit, Ethan as the bee, and Tim as onlooker.] This past weekend marked Ethan’s stage debut (and Tracey’s triumphant return to the stage) in Alice in Wonderland

And just how successful was the show? The original goal was 300 people (about 100 per show). Instead, 225 tickets were sold for the Friday night show, 223 for the Saturday matinee, and at least 200 for the Saturday evening show.

Speaking as an audience member, it was a lot of fun to watch. The kids and adults alike seemed to be enjoying themselves. The costumes were wonderful… I could go on and on…

But the picture says more than I ever could.

My kids and I were part of the 223 audience members at the Saturday matinee, and we all enjoyed it. Kristyn was so excited she was out of her seat, standing close to the row in front of her to get a little closer to the action. Both Nicholas and she seemed happy to see their littlest cousin on stage and had fun watching Aunt Tracey hop about as the White Rabbit. She was very entertaining and so animated…the kids were fun to watch. A good time, for sure!
