Rijk was kind enough to point out that my offline version of the CSS2.1 sidebar is out of date.

Rijk's Panelizer is a collection of Sidebars for Opera (may work in Firefox too, but since I don't use it, I can't say for sure).

Most notable in the collection (for me at least) is an updated version of the CSS2.1 Sidebar which points to the CSS2.1 Candidate Recommendation (CR) rather than the older and outdated Working Draft.

Rijk has been nice enough to provide a zip file you can download and use offline.

I blatantly copied recompiled Opera’s Mouse Gestures Page into the MouseGestures Sidebar.

Some new Google Panels by Christen Hermansen

Kevin W (who many of you will recognize from css-d, thelist@evolt, and Opera newsgroups, as well as comments from Beyond30) has supplied a new Opera Panel/Mozilla Sidebar.

It is a Google Advanced Groups Search panel for searching Google Groups (Usenet). Codename? GAGS! Think of it as a cousin of Google Advanced Search Panel, codename GASP.

One of the things that I love most about Opera is the ability to use Sidebars / Panels.

I've made about 12 of these now, and they are one of the most popular destinations on the site (and the #1 site for 'sidebars' on Google).

So how do you make a sidebar?

It's actually very easy. If you can make a web page, you can make a sidebar, there are just a few things to take into consideration.
