You must read How and When to report bugs and the Guidelines for Filing Good Bug Reports. Filing a bad bug report will not make Opera better product.
Following these guides makes the Bug Hunters lives easier, which makes it easier to fix bugs, which makes it more likely Opera will improve, which means you are more likely to get a better browser.
Always make sure that you are using the latest version by checking out Opera A/S homepage.
You can find the build number in opera:about.
The best way to help make sure a bug is fixed is to show an URL where the bug can be seen. Of course, not all bugs have URLs with them (i.e. a problem with Mail, or preferences, etc). In these cases, leave the URL field blank.
Do not put N/A or "none" or anything but an URL.
It is recommended that you save this page to your local hard drive and set the defaults appropriate for your setup. For example, you can save your version of Windows (XP, 98, ME, etc) as well as your email address.
This page is intended only for those who are using Opera 7 FINAL for Windows. Do not use this form to report bugs in other versions of Opera, instead use The official Opera bug report page which has appropriate options for other operating systems.
